Varaus was a Finnish hardcore punk band. The band was founded in Hyrylä, Tuusula around in 1982 and released their first record, a single sided album called 1/2 in 1982 and Tuomittu Elämään 7″EP in 1983.Later the band was based in Helsinki. The band split up in April 1985 and has never performed after that. Kråklund Records released a compilation of Varaus’s recordings in 1996, Feral Ward released 1/1 LP in 2010 and Lärmattacke finally re-released repros of both 1/2 LP and 7″EP in 2022. This CDR- PRO is the same released KRAKLUND RECORDS but now released by DTANK Records!
